The Chattanooga Red Wolves have re-signed defender Travis Nicklaw for the remainder of the 2023 season. He was previously signed to a 25 day contract at the beginning of the season and started in the first three matches of the season for the Red Wolves.
Nicklaw also played for the Red Wolves in 2020 where he played 515 minutes over seven appearances with five starts.
The American-born Guamanian has appeared for Guam’s national team since 2012, helping obtain a historic win over Turkmenistan (1-0) in the country’s FIFA World Cup qualifying match. Four days later on June 15, 2015, Nicklaw scored his first international goal in the second match of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier Group D round against India.
