Chattanooga, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Red Wolves SC have announced the signing of forward Dyson Clapier, adding an experienced attacking player to the club’s roster for the remainder of the 2026 USL League One season.
Clapier joins Chattanooga after spending the 2025 season with Orlando City B in MLS NEXT Pro. During his time with Orlando, Clapier recorded two goals and one assist, including goals against Columbus Crew 2 and Huntsville City FC. He also recorded an assist against Inter Miami CF II.
“Dyson is an exciting addition for us,” said Red Wolves Head Coach and Technical Director Scott Mackenzie. “I’ve known him for a long time, and we enjoyed great success together at Park City in USL2. He brings real pace and power to our attack, along with the ability to take players on, create opportunities, and score goals.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Clapier enjoyed a standout five-year collegiate career at the University of Akron, where he totaled 19 goals and 20 assists. During his time with the Zips, Clapier earned multiple conference, regional, and national honors while helping Akron compete among the nation’s top collegiate programs.
Clapier’s final collegiate season in 2024 was particularly successful, as he started all 21 matches and recorded five goals and eight assists. His performance earned him First-Team All-BIG EAST and First-Team All-East Region honors. Following the 2024 season, Clapier was selected by Sporting Kansas City with the 51st overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft. He ultimately joined Orlando City B ahead of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.
“I have a lot of good memories with the Red Wolves. I played for them in Park City for a few years, and we won a lot together. Fast forward now, I’m looking to do the same and help the team push into playoffs and make a deep run.” said Clapier.
Clapier brings professional experience, creativity, and a proven ability to contribute in the attacking third as the Red Wolves enter the final stretch of the 2026 USL League One season.
