CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2018) – Chattanooga Red Wolves SC has announced J.W. Kelly & Co. as the official 2019 inaugural warm-up jersey sponsor of its USL League One team.
“Our team is thrilled to have J.W. Kelly on board for our inaugural season,” said Chattanooga Red Wolves SC President and General Manager Sean McDaniel. “The brand’s history is nothing short of remarkable, and we couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with J.W. Kelly’s team to create an exciting and genuine fan experience on game days and for club events.”
James Watt Kelly, the brand’s original crafter, journeyed to the United States from Ireland in 1863. In 1865, Kelly moved to Chattanooga and began distilling and selling American whiskey in 1866. After his death and the tolls of prohibition, distribution of J.W. Kelly’s bourbon was dormant until 2017, when the recipe was revived and resumed production. Kelly’s use of old-world pot distillation and custom mixture of corn, malted rye and barley helped create Old Milford’s unique blend of five, six and eight-year-old barrels. The spirit is now distributed in 32 states in North America and internationally in Canada, Denmark, The United Kingdom and China.
“Our team at Quest Brands is excited to be partnering with Chattanooga’s Premier Soccer Club,” said Quest Brands, Inc. Vice President and Director of Operations Joe Griffin. “We look forward to showcasing our J.W. Kelly brand as we support the Red Wolves in their pursuit of authentic game experiences.”
J.W. Kelly’s logo will be featured across the front of the pregame jersey the Red Wolves players will warm-up in prior to the team’s 30+ home and away matches. The “J.W. Kelly & Co. Warm-up Jersey” will be available for fans to purchase. In addition, J.W. Kelly will be the main liquor sponsor featured at the team’s kit reveal event on Feb. 9, as well as additional Chattanooga Red Wolves events throughout the season.

The Red Wolves will face Forward Madison FC for the club’s inaugural opening night the following week on April 6. Kickoff is 7 p.m. local time.
