Chattanooga, Tenn. – Chattanooga Red Wolves SC has secured its place in the 2026 USL League One Playoffs, extending its season into the postseason as the club prepares for a quarterfinal matchup against Union Omaha this Friday, October 30.
The Red Wolves enter the postseason as the seventh seed in the USL League One playoff bracket and will travel to Omaha, Nebraska, to take on the second-seeded Union Omaha at Morrison Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm EST as Chattanooga begins its pursuit of a league championship.
The 2026 USL League One Playoffs feature the league’s top eight teams in a single-elimination format, with higher-seeded clubs earning home-field advantage. With the regular season behind them, the Red Wolves will look to carry their competitive mentality and determination into the postseason against one of the league’s top sides.
Head Coach and Technical Director Scott Mackenzie emphasized the importance of the opportunity ahead and the work his team has put in throughout the season.
“It’s been a challenging season,” said Mackenzie. “There’s been great moments, low moments. We have had to deal with more injuries and set backs than most, but the group has always come together and battled. 7th in a league this competitive, considering all factors, is a great a achievement and now we put everything into Friday trying to make a run in the playoffs.”
The matchup marks another chapter in the Red Wolves’ ongoing competition with Union Omaha, a familiar opponent in USL League One. Chattanooga will look to deliver a strong performance on the road and earn its place in the semifinal round, scheduled for November 6–8.
The club’s postseason appearance represents an opportunity to build on the work established throughout the 2026 campaign and compete for the ultimate prize in USL League One. As the team prepares for Friday’s contest, the Red Wolves remain focused on the challenge ahead and the opportunity to represent Chattanooga on the postseason stage.
