CHATTANOOGA, TN. (May 5, 2021) – CHI Memorial Stadium will open for full-capacity crowds beginning May 22nd for the first Red Wolves home game of the season against Fort Lauderdale CF at 7pm EST.
As health and safety protocols are still in place for the safety of all stadium goers, face masks are encouraged but not required. Hand sanitization stands throughout the building and increased cleaning staff, will continue to be maintained within the venue. Fans experiencing any COVID like symptoms will not be permitted to enter.
“With COVID-19 vaccines readily available, every day it has become more clear that vaccinations and other controls have severely mitigated active COVID cases in the Scenic City,” says GM and President, Sean McDaniel. “We’ve been working hand in hand with our state and local health officials over the course of the past month and are announcing that our home opener on May 22 at CHI Memorial Stadium will be open at full capacity just like many professional sporting venues throughout the country at this point. We encourage fans to wear masks as an added measure of precaution but will make all seats available for purchase. I want to thank our fans and partners for being patient and unwavering throughout the past year. We cannot wait to open our doors for the first time in 2021, introduce our fans to our new stadium elements like our jumbotron and lights and bring together our community once again.”
